I'd hate to think I was ever pulling a trigger on

B.O.'s behalf.

His performance has put my respect for him

beneath Glocks...

I just finished my Saiga conversion.
Saiga Rifle - 349.00 from classic arms
Stock - got it for free from a friend
Trigger components, grip and mags - $200.00 from Carolina Shooting Supplies

So for $550.00 I got a high quality AK and got to learn its innards first hand.

I am going to add a UTG side scope mount ($28) and a Sight Mark reflex site ($89) from Amazon.

Cant wait to get it to the range.

Mick

But if you have $1000 to spend, a good AR would be even better. Especially a Colt.

I picked up a M10-762 (ak 47) imported by M&M out of Colorado made by FA Cugir in Romania. I got it for a little over 500. It is a blast to shoot. I've put about 700 rounds through it and I have not had any problems. I did replace the buttstock and picked up some metal magazines. I would recommend it to anyone.

I too have a M10-7.62. Nice firearm. I paid $500 last fall. Shoots very well. AK reliability; more than 1,000 rounds with no problems.

It can hit the 8" gong all day with the red dot at 200yrds. just by holding over a bit.

What red dot do you use? I was thinking about taking advantage of the side mount but not sure yet. I was surprised to see how accurate that rifle is and the trigger is awesome. I put a Mako side folder on the buttstock.
