Default Help on Ammo brand
Hi All,
I would like to buy some bulk 223 55gr. FMJ ammo. Maybe about 500-1000 rounds for play in the desert. Any suggestions as what brand to stay away from and what is the best deal? I love the Remington but it seems very pricey. I don't want junk, but don't want to pay for a name either.

If your gun is rated for 5.56 I would suggest waiting for the next local gun show and stocking up on mil-surp. You can usually get it cheaper.

Tul ammo is fmj and cheap. Never had any problems with it in my AR

Lucky Gunner is pretty good too if you buy bulk. Also Cheaper Than Dirt but you have to buy a couple thousand rounds to make their high shipping rates worth it.
