looks good to me Chandler but has anyone else heard about a ban entering the united states? I have not an seriously think the gun shop was lying just to sell an overpriced WASR!

I think if there was such a ban it would have been all over the forums..... I would get one before prices go up. You can't go wrong with one as long as you inspect it. And the add-ons are plentiful.

Saiga rifles are pretty good. I have one and love it. You could get a stock one and convert it your self or get something like the Iz340 that half way there. A lot of online shops sell quality conversions already completed!
If you’re really trying to save cash there is always the good old wasr, hey its what I started with.

Yeah that is what I want! I dont really care about upgrading it... I might redo the wood finish but that is it i like the original look. Besides I have an AR that is all decked out and its not like I am going into combat with this thing I just want one to plink around with and just to say I have one. I have and SKS but its not the same! And I have totally been thinking about a WASR

I'm looking too for an AK. My lgs don't have any that I like. I want full wood furniture. Preferably that pretty orange finished wood but I could finish the wood myself if néed be. I just want to know where to look. Prefer not to spend more than 500 if I can help it as its just gonna be for plinking and I'm going to feed it dirt cheap steel cased.

Cherokee only has one AK on their site no pictures and doesn't ship. I don't live in Missouri.
