what anybody's educated opinion?

I liked it though it was not the most ergonomic rifle I've shot. Never shot it past 25 yards but it seemed accurate.

Mine jammed every sixth round, was inaccurate, looked like it was put together by monkeys, the dust cover was nearly impossible to get on and off, weighed far too much for a puny .223, and it KEYHOLED! All in all, another wonderful Century product.
I traded it for a Ruger Mini 14.

Century is hit or miss with all rifles

If your going to get a galil get a parts kit and diy or fork over the money and get an IMI
