Default First day at the range with WASR 10

Took my ak to the range today for the first time since buying it. I really like how it shot, it was quite accurate at 100 yards with iron sights and me having little experience (none at all) shooting it. I'm sure the groupings will get a lot better my next 60 rounds through

One of my shooting buddies has a WASR10; it is a fun gun to shoot and not hard to take care of. He did learn a lesson about the scope mount, go ahead and get that side mount; the receiver cover style mounts don't stay quite steady enough to hold a good zero.

Mine has the mount on the side to mount the PSO-1 scope. Has that like cantalever type system, scope is around 80 bucks so I think I will get one for sure. Don't know how accurate it will be though

If you are going to go by "no pistons", you are going to need to get an AR at some point man.

Haha, it's in reference to Mazda RX-7s and their rotary engines. But if I get an AR, I will buy a piston one =]

Nah... stick to your namesake if you get an AR. You already have one in the WASR. "Pistons? We don't need no stinkin' pistons!"
