I would like to get my first Ak and here is my list of preferences
1 not that costly 400$ and under
2 very customizable
3 very reliable
4 in 223 or 7.62x39 so I can buy surplus
5 generally light
And pics and price would be nice

I would go with a WASR 10, inexpensive at about $389. Easy to dress up if that is something you want to do. A blast to shoot. Personally, I prefer my AK in 7.62x39. No picture how about a short video.

I agree with Shi, The Romey WASR-10 in 7.62 is a hoot.

Ok one of the main reasons I'm getting an Ak is because its one of the most realiable guns ever and if I ever need to survive where I would need a realiable gun I would like this Ak at my side so could you also tell me some of the accerories I may or would need. ( I know I would need 6-10 mags and plenty of ammo)

Anybody have an opinion on a Zastava PAP? I know that EAA Customer Service is horrible but how is this rifle, the Zastava PAP. I have a 9mm Witness pistol and its been perfect; so, I am curious about this rifle.
