It's very hard to recover your money when selling a rifle with a lot of extras. While you know the gun works well. A potential buyer sees it as a project went awry. Buyers expect to spend more on the rifle fixing your blunders. The buyers logic is sound. "Why does he want to sell this rifle after doing all this work?" Personally when I hear the words trigger job or any DIY Gunsmithing I walk away.

I have not bought them yet, but if you look on my thread "Pimpin my Romania AK" and you will see the links for what I am getting. Planning on ordering them next weekend.

On a side note...

Just watched an episode of Cajun Pawn Stars where they assessed a mint Arsenal 106 at $650...need to shop there!

I disagree, extras that he put on this AK are nice parts that add value to the firearm. Stock, for instance is a big upgrade and hard to fudge. The side rail is another example of a cost saver for a potential buyer. As far as a trigger upgrade, a monkey could drop in a Tapco g2 upgrade, no filing or butchering required. As far as a buyer asking why he is selling this rifle after he did all the upgrades?? Every gun I have ever sold was to buy something I need, from a semester in college to payments on other stuff. My guns have been sold to save my butt financially more than once. There are tons of reasons people let go of firearms, that logic is "Solid".

True that.

I'm a certifiable gun hoarder, but I still have to "hoard carefully" as I can't afford to just buy - I have to sell one in order to buy one.

I did a lot of comparison-shooting and sold my mint PolyTech AKS762SP (think of a MAK-90) as A) I wanted the money for other things and B) I preferred my U/F Yugo M70AB2 vs the PolyTech fixed-butt.

I figured why have that cash tied up in a single gun that cost me twice as much as my Yugo - I should not have impulsively bought the PolyTech in the first place.

I've spent almost $1300-1400 approximately and shot about 1100 rounds through it.
Reason why, maybe i'm an AR guy. The BRD infected me so bad.
IF i sell it, most probably i'd get a PWS Diablo upper. And mate it up with a Noveske Gen2 lower.

Modded Parts:
Tapco Intrafuse Handguard (Lower)
Tapco AK Saw Style Grip
Tapco G2 Single Stage Trigger
Krebs Hammer and Trigger Pins Retainer
Tromix Extended Bolt On Charging Handle
Spike's Tactical Dynacomp Muzzle Brake
AK47 Recoil Buffer
CAA Extended Mag Release
VLTOR Mil-Spec Collapsible Stock Adapter
Magpul Angled Fore Grip 2
Magpul CTR Carbine Stock
Magpul Enhanced Rubber 0.70" Butt-Pad
Magpul 0.50" Cheek Riser
UTG 5th Gen Quick Detachable Double Rail AK Side Mount
Bushnell Trophy TRS-25 Red Dot Sight

Any suggestions? Should or shouldn't? And how much do you think i should sell this baby for? I was thinking $1000-1100.
Yes you should to me, for a firm handshake.
