debating on getting a saiga 308
 

I have an ar and i love it, its dead on accurate, lightweight, and has everything i wanted in an ar but...i found a guy selling a saiga 308 at a decent price are they worth the money. Next to my ar will i be disappointed, are the accurate at say 400 yards? If anyone has a saiga 308 can you give me your input. I own a saiga 12 and love it, but i only own one rifle. Are they worth adding ro the collection?

My Saiga .308 averages about a 2-4 inch group at 100 yards shooting blasting ammo (brown bear). Better ammo in a weight that works with the rifling should be a little better.

But it shoots all the cheap crap without a problem, and the barrel and chamber is chrome lined.. Remember chrome is to make the barrel last not to improve accuracy.

Put it this way, if you don't get it you have made about as bad of a choice as mixing meth and gas the poring it into your eyes. So yes you should get it, you will not be disappointed with Saiga.
