Can't ID AK, Help!
A friend of mine has a GSAD AK in 7.62, and we were trying to figure out how much it would be worth. It has no major markings on it to identify except a ser.# that is 4 diggits long, all parts have matching numbers, fixed with a folding spike bayonet. All wood furniture is in excellent condition. I looked up GSAD and it stands for Golden State Arms distributor in Manhattan Beach California before the gun importing banning took place, no longer in buisness. Actually he said there was the word china stamped on the side of the barrel, between where the gas tube meets the barrel and the front sight. Are these quality AK's that he should keep for his collection or sell for some cash to purchase somthing else.
