I am not getting the rate of fire when bump firing that I would like. I'm using a wasr 10 all stock. Are there mods to improve the rate of fire or does it have to do with technique? And I can't afford full auto yet so please dont suggest that.

I don't recommend bump firing in general.

The big expense in auto fire is feeding it. Bump firing really has no practical application so, I choose to save my money and make the rounds count.

You can get faster though just by practicing and finding the right tension to pull.

Are you bump firing from the hip or with a slide fire stock? Not much control is afforded from the hip but with a slide fire stock, more forward pressure will result in a faster firing rate to a point. Pass that point and you will see that the bump firing will stop on its own and the gun will stop shooting. The only way to figure it out is with practice and probably lots of ammo

Why not use the time and money "learning" to bump fire "correctly" and learn hoe to use the weapon proficiently?

Bump firing dbags give shooters a bad name and are the ones ****ing it up at the ranges for all of us. If it wasn't for idiots I wouldn't have to drive 30min to use my firearms in the manner they were designed at an outdoor range.

Because I know how to use the weapon proficiently. I didn't buy a wasr to make long range shots. I bought it so I could have fun burning through cheap ammo. And I don't mess anything up for people at ranges because I don't shoot rapid fire or full autos at the range I shoot those on my own property. This is going a lot like my aforementioned previous thread with a lot of people replying with absolutely no useful information.

Ryguy: I'm firing from a normal firing position with the stock held away from my shoulder. No slide fire stock just putting forward pressure on the hand guard and letting the gun rest on my trigger hand. I'm not having problems getting it to bump fire I can get it to go through an entire Mag no prob I'm just wondering if polishing the bolt or changing trigger groups will affect ROF.

Polishing will probably not help much you might pull a few milliseconds, but the mechanics of the rifle can only cycle so fast. I can dump an Ak mag in a few seconds pretty accurately on bump . My question is what is the point? Its fun but not all practical unless you have a bear in front of you!
