Default Any Good Deals On Stamped AK47?

Looking for best AK47 (stamped) for the money. Money isn't flowing like a river but I also don't want a piece of junk suggested to me either. Someone mentioned Century Arms CIA are junk and I don't know but they seem to have their name on A LOT of the under $700 rifles. Thanks!

I picked up one at a recent gun show ~ AK 1967 Romanian WASR 10/63 for less than 450.00. Been happy with it since.

You might find that finding ANY AK these days will now be a challange. WASRs and M-10s are your bet for that price-point.

Not all teh Century guns are junk. I just recommend looking them over in person before buying. I've had two Century AK clones. No canted sights or gas blocks, they have been reliable and more accurate than most folks expect.

it would really be helpful to have a "what to realistically look for in a budget ak"... if i could find one with good optics... an upgrade package already on it i of course would pay more... not sure around $1200 i guess... i just don't know what to look for in person as a noob... i saw a video of three problems with wasr 10s...

In my limited ak experience canted sight base is about the main real issue that comes up. Thats easy to detect just by eyeballing the gun.

The wasr10 comes with a side rail for mounting optics. The one i bought has no major issues other than rougher finish on the metal and unfinished wood.

Just means i dont have to do much stripping to get the crappy shellac off of it. I havent fired it yet but it seems to hand cycle ammo well enough.
