I would get the AK platform. Either caliber.

I love my Wasr2 (AK74). Very accurate. Mags are still fairly cheap, so is the ammo. I bought a side mount and put a red dot on it. It helps is low light, but the rifle is plenty accurate w/ iron sights.

In the Pick it shows it w/ a 5 round .223 mag. They function fine for hunting vermin, but only hold 4.

You never know what's going to turn heads at a range.

4 of out the 5 times I take my DE44, it gets ignored.

Now, my Mosin M44s turns heads 50% of the time.

My other mildurp gets raves, occasionally.

Once everyone was fussing about my Marlin 1894.

You never can tell. It depends on who's there.

The M44 turns heads because it's so loud and violent it gets people wondering just what the hell exploded, and they're trying to decide on whether of not to run

BTW I have 4 Century arms guns including the UC-9 UZI and have had good luck with all of them. The only problem I have had with the UZI is it doesn't like to cycle 115 grain 9mm. Stick with 125 and you will be fine.
Enlighten me ... out of the three (AK-47, UZI, & AK-74) which one would you get?

Everybody's got one.

But the Mosin M44, muzzle-blast a mondo! Great fun,

and bullets are cheap, too.

Just some irony here-

I've heard UZI and accurate in the same sentence. OXYMORON

I've heard UZI and AK in the same sentence as home defense. IGNORANCE

If you want to turn heads at the range, wear ladies undergarments and nothing else. A case of the "look-at-me" is juvenile.

Why do you feel it necessary to list your guns?

One of the first guns I ever shot was an Israili Uzi. I did not think it was rough shooting at all.

Lighten up there, a little, bud. Don't you spend any drool-time at the range

checking out other people's guns? I have a great time meeting new people,

looking at old milsurps, and exchanging ideas.
