Default AK UltiMAK Picatinny Rail Gas Tube OEM Replacement

Picked this up MOD for about $90 bucks so I can mount a red dot onto my AK later. I have a side mount thing of a majig, with a quick release on and off, which I have been using a 3x red dot maginfier that I wasn't real thrilled about so thought I would try this out. It's made in USA and out of some solid aluminum. The only downside that I can see is that it will probably get HOT as hell and the MOD is mounted to barrel using two brackets under the bottom grip so definately won't be taking it apart to clean the tube more than a couple times a year at most. Installation was a little bit of a PITA found a helpful YouTuber that showed how he did it using punches as pins to keep everything lined up. Will let you know if I have any negative feedback.

PS...so many people modding their AR's never got into AR's, not sure why, am nuts about my AK though. The only 5.56 I shoot is my Mini 14, no interest is making the move over to AR's. I guess it's the history of the weapon and the abuse they can take and keep on pumping out rounds.
