thanks for all of the tips. im gonna take my ak apart and look it over thoroughly. there isnt a rubber buffer installed. its all stock internals. im just give everything a good look over. thanks guys
i took a close look and the bolt carrier catches on the hammer. im guessin itll just take some time for the spring to loosen or some of the metal to wear down for it to cycle perfectly
