Default Saiga MK - AK103

This is my second rifle: Saiga MK 7,62x39. Should be something like the Arsenal SGL21, right? The difference is that we get them as they come out from Izhmash. Only mod they had to do for import was to weld the folding stock and make it fixed. A shame but I can live with it.

I already tried a standard AK mag in it and it fits perfectly, no wobbles at all. Of course it still needs to be modified in the latch and bullet guide.

And here is with it's little BB brothers

(Real Sword Type 56-1 and 56-2)

Next step an Ultimak rail + red dot

One more picture for me. Consider this the "before" as I intend to start modifications and optics mounting later this month.

I have already posted these on another thread of a similar nature, but I figured why not here as well. Feel free to post your thoughts.

Here is my Norinco MAK-90. Now I just need to get a slant break to fit it.

Default My SKS all blinged out.

Here is my latest project. A whole bunch of hours went into sizing that mount and gas tube assembly. But I had fun doing it!!

I am planning on going tomorrow to get the scope zeroed.

Unfortunately I could not find any Soviet bipods for her, but that is okay.

I've heard or read somewhere that Vietcong or even Russians used bayonet as a monopod during defence in their "fox holes" etc.
When I had an SKS I've shoot few times with it it works a little bit.

That's a trick that's been around since at least the 1860's and the advent of commercially common rifled barrels.
