Hows that riser working for you? Have you tried it w/o the riser?

So far I like it a lot..! It was cheap acesserie and with the doubled sight radius and the 74 muzzle brake it performs fantastic. Being that the new rear sight is higher than standard the front post stands higher than the post guard. It was a little goofy looking at first but it's made such difference accuracy. And it's not so much that is so better than original rear sight but the truth is I've got 5 1/2 to 6 inch groups at 100+ or so as opposed to basketball size groups with before. Love it, and worth the 50$.. It certainly isn't kerbs quality great but works

Sorry I went talking all about rail and forgot the riser question ... It's a sleek looking riser that doesn't have bulky locking nuts and is as stated a"bridge riser" with a wide open view through the riser and when I need to buy a riser in future I'll be going for the Lions gear. Still rather new but love to this point

Last thing I thought I'd share about why I even got the riser because the TRS25 red dot when on the beryl rail I couldn't co-witness cause the position of the Led light in the red dot blocked my only option of 1/3 witness so the see through riser allows me for both options

Smithkid:

I have done about fifteen stocks for the SKS, and own three bullpups myself.

Here are a few examples:

I make the stocks for sale. I also do AK's

Smithkid:

The stocks are complete kits I make myself, and everything is included that you need to install your rifle in one. Nothing else to buy, unless you want a hand guard and/or a fore grip. I make those too.

If you are asking about which stock I'd recommend, then I'd say, "Whichever one you like the most". A lot of people like the "Thompson" style. I personally like the AUG style best because it is so well balanced, and narrower around the muzzle back to the magazine area.

All of them make people take notice, especially when they realize there is an old "commie" milsurp rifle in there!
