I like the contrast, but she needs better booger hook discipline.

Thank you sir, unfortunately this particular sight doesn't co-witness. I even tried a lower mount but no dice. Primary Arms offers one that does co-witness when used with the Ultimak and I may switch out for it a bit later on.

Thank you very much! The AFG is one of the best things I added. As you can see I like to use my rails and the AFG saves my hands from the sharp edges. That bottom rail is a tad shorter than recommended for mounting but the whole thing locks down very solidly with no wobble.

Bad pic but you get the idea. I picked it up from PA as a package deal w/ one of their micros. It's light, co-witnesses, and doesn't put more weight over the barrel.

Tells us more about the Saiga. How many rounds, how does it shoot? Who did the conversion?

That is very sleek and compact looking, I really like that setup and rifle! I'm hoping to do a .223 Saiga later on and this would be perfect for it.

I got my rifle from a friend who did the conversion himself. He was inspired by the FN SCAR and built this because he lacked the funds to buy the real thing. Originally it had a Krebs dust cover rail as well but I didn't like the optic setting that high so I removed it and just used the Ultimak.

I've had this rifle about two years now and have run several thousand rounds through it. She'll group just under two inches from off a bench at 100 yards with Russian steel cased ammo. I've heard guys say they get better groups with their Saigas so I guess it's just the way I shoot that makes the difference. This rifle is the one that I shoot the most so when I make a range trip she's usually in the mix.
