Default AK 40 Mags
I've heard 40 round AK mags are less than reliable. I've contemplated buying a few, but pricey if they're crap mags. Is the extra capacity worth the price?

How are they less reliable? I've never had feed issues from my 30 or 40 or drum.

Bulgarian 40 rounders from what I here are the cream of the crop in 40 rounders.

I have a few 40 round mags for my SLR-95 and never had any problems.

Read it somewhere that the spring was on the weak side, but if they work for you guys, I'm aboard.

You can always replace springs. I had a couple 20rd magazines that I wore the spring out after years of range shooting.

If they are a former Warsaw Pact (Romania, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, East German, etc.) they will work fine. They were issued to be used in the RPK...
