Default .44 Auto Mag brass wanted

Hi all

A bit of a weird request

I am wanting a couple of empty .44AMP brass for my collection.

If anyone has some brass that they have deemed unfit/unsafe for further reloading but is still in reasonably good order (no splits etc) that they can supply me with, it would be most appreciated.

No need to supply projectiles, just the empty brass.

I would be able to cover reasonable postage to New Zealand (e.g. DVD flat rate box with brass taped to inside) via paypal.

Many thanks

You can make your own brass from 308 or 30 06 brass. Cut the case to 1.298 inches. Inside neck ream to hold .429 bullet. de burr inside and out. full length size and load. This info is from the Handloader's manual of cartridge conversion, page 556

I've read that, but I don't have the means to ream out the inside nor the appropriate means of sizing the brass.

I'm just wanting empty brass into which I can fit a projectile to make an inert round for my collection, so if I had the means to resize and ream a .308 or .30-06, I'd do so.

Brass with .44 AMP will be pretty scarce. It has not been made in MANY years. Good luck

If there's anyone who resizes .308 or .30-06 and has old brass no longer fit for reloading, that'd suffice. I don't need the .44 AMP headstamp, just appropriately-sized brass.

I'm given to understand that most people that use .44AMP form their own brass from old rifle casings, so a resized .308 or .30-06 case would be fine.

I'm aware that sizing kits are available, but since I only want a couple of rounds it's not worth me buying one.
