Default Winchester 67 Smooth Bore

I stumbled upon a old Winchester 67 .22 LR-S-L . I did some research and it may be wrong but I believe it was made in the first production year. In 1934 the rifle was made with the stock to have finger grips and after 1935 they stopped and made solid stocks. Well this one has the finger grips and is in really good shape. I have looked online and saw some selling for over $1000. I would upload pics as soon as I can.

I took it to a gun show once and a lot of the venders kept saying it wasn't a smooth bore and nothing like that existed. I originally took it to two different gun shops and they said it was a smooth bore. I took it to a friend of mine today who is a Retired SF Sniper and he told me it was a smooth bore so its up in the air. It does have a spin but the barrel is completely smooth there are no groves in the spirals at all. As I said before I will try and post some pictures as soon as possible.

Is it marked Smooth Bore? 27" barrel? If so it does exist, and is worth at least
double what a regular rifled 67 is equal condition would be worth.

Bill nailed it. They brought that out in 1937. Barrel should be marked like this:

The barrel isn't marked but it has the 27in barrel and the guy at the gun shop said they didn't say smooth bore on all of them. But then again he just said he was a certified NRA member and only proof was a paper card with his name and number that said NRA lol

The smooth bores were smooth , like a shotgun. You said "It does have a spin". Spin means NOT a smooth bore. Looks like maybe a $200 rifle.
