Default Taurus TCP vs ?

I went into Academy Sports yesterday and compared the Taurus TCP to my PT 740 slim and was amazed at the size deference. The TCP is really small and light. I wonder how it recoils? How precise is it? How reliable is it? Any feedback?

I like mine. I started with a KelTec p3at which is slightly smaller and a few oz. lighter but I liked the lock back function of the tcp. Both guns are a little snappy so hold tite.

TCP has alittle kick to it, but not too bad. Trigger is alittle stiff, once you get use to it is pretty accurate little gun.

I'm looking at holsters for my TCP. I've tried several in the pocket types and haven't been too carried away with any of the ones I've looked at. I saw an IWB for small autos but failed to get the brand or model. Any one using one they like? Just putting the pistol in my pocket hasn't been too good for me as it turns the wrong way.

I have the DeSantis Soft-Tuck and a Nemesis. Depending if I want to carry IWB or just in a pocket. Both work well.

I tried the Bulldog pouch that came with my purchase on a temporary basis. Now I love it. Unobtrusive, very fast access to the TCP. Bought one for my wife (they both have Kel-teks and they love them as well. Worth a try!

To solve the kick/snappy issue, get one of these for $10...use it for 6-10 weeks, problem solved.

I ordered a Sneaky Pete holster from Amazon and it's been perfect!

I'm also looking for the best CC solution for me. I'm leaning towards a BullDog Cell Phone Case.

There are three potential problems with it. One, an occasional question or comment. Two, you will bump the doorways and occasionally a person. Three, it is familiar enough to the cops and others - you will draw unwanted attention.
