Default Taurus PT92 22lr conversion

Just an FYI for those interested. I purchased a Ciener 22LR conversion kit for the PT92 a few months back. I had owned an advantage arms 22 conversion for my Glock but found it to be ammo sensitive and tempermental. The Ciener kit has been excellent. I Have shot thousands of rounds through it of ANY 22lr I could lay my hands on and I could probably count the total misfire/jams on one hand--nearly flawless. It's quite inexpensive at $199.
Now for the downside, Ciener has had issues in the past with actually delivering his product after purchase. He will NOT talk to anyone on phone nor does he take credit cards. You have to send in a check or MO and wait. Sounds shady but after researching it seems he's just eccentric and never swindled anyone but was just slow. I took a shot and even though I sent a personal check I had the kit in just over 3 weeks. If you like shooting your 92 but don't want to shoot your valuable 9mm, this may be the way to go.

Do you know if it will work with a 917?

Don't think so..Although the guns are very similar, the 917 had a 4" barrel compared to a 5" on the 92/99.

Here's the site info:
