My current CCW is a 709 Slim. I added the Pearce & Garrison mag extensions (although at 6'1" with big hands I have no problem shooting without it), a Hogue grip plus extra rubber (inner tube) at the top, and put a Glock Ameriglo sight on the front - really stands out nice. Carry it in a cross-breed type, custom made, IWB holster well made by a gent here in Missouri ($40)...also have a mag carrier from the same guy.

Or, clean your gun before you fire it out of the box.
I had trouble with mine as well when new out of the box. Real good cleaning and about 150 rounds and it never misses a lick now.

Smith and Wesson DOES say that you should clean your gun before the first use. Perhaps Taurus should advise the same.

Very nice!
Metal finish and wood tone are a great match.

I miss my satin nickel Taurus....only gun I ever sold and have regretted for 14 years now!

My Tauri...
Some one longer with us, one that still is... I'm getting my new OSS in two weeks. There will be tons of pics of that one!

Wish I still had the PT100. Had no choice but to let it go. I'll replace it someday
