Default pt 24/7 mag release

I have a pt24/7 9mm. I have trouble with it dropping the mag out when I fire it. Anyone know where I can get a mag catch for it? I don't want to send my gun to Tuarus.

Had the same problem with a different model Taurus. I called they sent me a new mag release button and spring.

I was able to order several mag release's and the mag release springs a year ago for my 24/7 pistols from Taurus but now Taurus does not ship these parts to the customers anymore. They require the customers to send the guns to them to replace these parts.

Found their service number. I'll call and ask them this morning. I don't think I'll send anyone my gun though.

Correct! Mag release assembly is "restricted parts". Looks like I will be taking it in to the pawn shop and putting it toward a G26.

I love how this gun shoots but I'd much rather spend money on a gun I can keep in my possession and keep running at the same time.

Ordered a glock mag release. Gonna see if I can trim it down to fit.

Doesn't work. Send it to Taurus or trade it for a G27?
