It would help if you knew the headstamp code.For example if i had LC52 ball it would be non corrosive.But AP LC52 is corrosive (www.odcmp.org/1101/usgi pdf
I treat all surplus ammo as if it was corrosive.
That way if there is a mess up in the ammo factory, my guns are safe & clean.
