Default .458 SOCOM ammo

Well I've owned my Rock River .458 SOCOM for just under a year now. I am having a heck of time trying to find ammo for it. I search the net weekly but always come up empty handed. Any ideas where to look. I sent in 40 spent casings to SBR in April to be reloaded and still haven't got them back.

Thanks,

deerslayer,
Contact Hilltop Guns Inc. Colona IL. they can provide you with some. Target or some killer hunting loads.
Hornady 325 Gr FTX. The group was a little high at 100 yards but was shooting for a group before final adjustments. This is a 5 shot group with the Hilltop Hunting loads I will be using in Texas this November. They are on the website.

Handloading is the only way to go with the 458 SOCOM. I've never fired a factory round out of mine.

Is correct! If I did not have a friend loading for me I would be loading myself!

Pretty much in agreement handloading is about it for any of the specialty rounds Socom Beowulf blackout etc.
