No ARs yet. I built myself up for zombie killing first. Now I am expanding. I want a HK G36 but AR and AK are on my radar.

Lol true. I meant in relation to the ar. There's 5.56 and. 223, along with 300 aac, 6.8 spcII, 6.5 grendel, 50 beo, 458 socom, 450 bushmaster, and a multitude of others Pardon me if my tone came off as rude, I'm attempting to be lighthearted and helpful, but alas, the lack of vocal and nonverbal cues makes computer mediated communication tough:P (Gee, I really did learn something in school! That's a first for me)

Sorry if I came of as rude also and my Ar-15 in 5.56 is like my most prized position when I go to my grad fathers farm we sit on the porch and load or 5.56's up with .223's and pick off any predators with ease ah I wish I lived in the country :/

IMO: G36 is a Ferrari (might not cost him like that one...) I mean, spare
parts (magazines included) might not be as available as a common AR-15.
If you get one, please post pictures and give a range report.

I really like the cross-bow or compound bow idea as your primary weapon.
If there are only 2 or 3 Zs, you can quietly take them out. SHTF, then I
would go loud.
