20 rounds per mag of 180-grain .30 caliber bullets loaded for 2,500 fps should do the trick on them bastids.

Maybe I'm just dense but I'm more worried about goblins, trolls, and skells than zombies. My anti GTS rifle is a Marlin 1894 .44mag loaded with Blazer 200 gr HPs. Might not stop one of the walking dead, but the living better watch their ass. Ditto my Frankenstein .45 and my Win 1300. I don't have silver bullets but I got plenty lead.

Depends on how the Z's are attired, for me. Either an M14 or an AR. I'm pretty comfy with either.
