I have a Mosin/Nagant M91/30. I have a co-worker that is hounding me to buy it. It's stock, just the way it was when it was made in '41. He offered $200.00 for it. I may have 140 in it. Should I sell or tell him to go to the next show and buy one?

It all depends if you want that rifle or not. IMHO, a $60 profit is not enough for me to even think about selling any of my firearms. But if you do not really like or want the 91/30 and $200 cash will get you something else you do want, then have at it!

Nobody here will be able to tell you what you should do, it is up to you to figure out what you want.

Take the money and run. Considering they run $79 or so you could pick up 2 and have some shekels left over.

It really depends on whether you are attached to the Rifle. You can get a nice 91/30 Hex for $100.00, $20.00 shipping, $?? transfer and have $ for ammo.

sounds like a good deal to me...if its a tula rifle and doesnt have imported marks,then hell no! keep it!...wouldnt it really suck to sell it for 200bucks and turns out to be a finn model.... you have any pics of the rifle you can post?

You are correct, in a way. The Winter war was over by March 1940, so if it is SA stamped, it is a fake. The Soviets had bigger fish to fry. I think you are getting ahead of the subject. You can only find the true origin of the receiver by checking the cross bolt block or tang, both under the wood. It is still a $89.00 rifle.
