For me it would be a glock 23 40. Caliber pistol with a 9mm replacment barrel that way i can just swap out barrels for either 9mm or 40 witch 40 is popular with law enforcement and so is 9 that would be my secondary, my primary would be an ar15 if i had to bug out or an ak47 if i was staying home or bugging in the reason id choose an ar15 for bugging out is because its light weight and easier to get accurate shots with it and plus 556x45 flys straighter then 762x39 now if i was staying in id use an ak in 762x39 i will be defending myself the reason id choose an ak is because its able to punch through cinderblocks and cars easier than 556 and is better for cqb since it can probably pierce more walls.

AR in 5.56

M&P 40 with 9mm conversion barrel on the side.

Mossberg 835

I got the chance to shoot several full auto firearms this past weekend while in Vegas , the one I enjoyed the most was the select fire AK only because it was a challenge to keep in on the paper while holding the trigger . The MP5 , M4 and Uzi were very controllable and easy to keep on the paper at that distance . The AK not so much .
If you ever get the chance to get to Vegas go see the people at Battlefield: Vegas. They were very nice, the place was spotless, very wide selection of stuff to shoot and they will pick you up and take you back to where ever you want to go in one of their HumVees .
We had a blast . We shot alot of different stuff from the Thompson , M4 , Uzi , MP5, S.A.W. ,AK47 all full auto and a M1 and a few hand guns

How much ammo will your system allow in contrast to other non-firearm entities?

I would have a sling for every long gun you own unless you plan on growing extra limbs from the end of the world nuclear fallout ... I kid, I kid... Mosin for offense Remington 870 for defense. I guess that works but it's personal preference.

You can make slings all day with some 550 cord I made this one with 170 feet of cord and about $12 in Home Depot hardware, not to mention the clips and ring are 170lb load bearing. Sling can be run in 1 or 2 point config. Only downside is it's custom fitted non adjustable - total cost of cord and hardware was $30 about half as much as a magpul sling.

It would be the Glock 29 plus whichever other one fit the situation best.

Thats a tough question. That means I have to leave some behind. But it would have to be my glock 22 and my Ar15. Both are good for a 100 yard shot. Anything further then that, I'm running or digging in.
