I traded a marlin xs7 308 for my 30-30 idk what but I don't like marlins for some reason I love savage win and rem are my top of the line favorites

I kind of like my SA NM M1A a little but by favorite rifle is the first one I ever bought on my own, a Winchester 94. I have had this rifle for 40 years and still love shooting it.

My favorite is my 1954 Tula Arsenal SKS, followed closely by my two Lee-Enfield rifles.

My favorite (at least right now) is my Model 640 Husqvarna made on the Model 96 action in 8x57 Mauser. It is extremely accurate consistantly shooting sub MOA groups with 180 grain and 200 grain handloads.

Don't own one yet but the Kris's vector. Owned a rem. 22-250 heavy barrel. Frickin sweet and before all these fancy loads came out reloaded nosler 40 grain ballistic tip at almost 4200 fps. Ah boy ba-boom woodchucks brain goes what?

I've probably owned more handguns over the years then I have rifles but out of the ones that I have owned the ones that come to mind were a Ruger M-77 in 220 Swift, and a Savage 99 in 300 Savage ctg. I think if you can find a Savage 99 in 308 Win or even 243 Win it'd be an awesome woods gun that'd still give you quite a bit of range.
Of course after doing a bit of research and reading my next high power rifle will be in 25-06 Remington. Not sure which one yet but that's the cartridge that I want to go with because it has low recoil, can be used for large varmints with lighter bullets and deer(and even elk) with heavier bullets and it's just "odd" enough for me to like it but still "standard" enough to find ammo and reloading stuff for it.

A standard action SAKO would be hard to beat for those uses. A heavy barrel Ruger M-77 is also a good choice.
