(WW2 PPSH-41) What do you think?

I've got a friend in Russia that wants to sell me an old ww2 PPSH-41, what do you all think of this gun?

I think they are great, but can you own a submachine gun ?

JonM 09-25-2011 12:14 PM

seriously doubt it was registered by the batf before 1986 as a transferable gun.

Trez 09-25-2011 04:27 PM

I thought no more guns can be imported from Russia?

That is an amazing gun.

I suggest you check with the Feds before you go any further in the process.

Neat gun--shoots 7.62x25, which is cheap right now. The 72 round drum
is a hoot.

If it is on the NFA registered and fully transferable, and not illegal in your
state, then go for it if the price is right.

If it's some kind of war bring-back that was never registered withe BATFE,
RUN. Run far--run fast--don't look back. If anybody asks deny that you even know how to spell PPsH-41.
