Hello everyone, I need some info on this rifle I might buy. Orginaly around December I was thinking of buying a Remington 750 and after reading all the problems with it with the magazine ect. I didnt feel like dealing with it so i searched for a good auto and found the SXR wich was $20 more with FFL and everything brand new. I like the design and how she looks but I've heard it impossible to clean and people will just shoot it till its no good and trade it for something else. I on the other hand take care of all my guns and sure as heck not gonna let a $700 gun sit in my closet and rust away with dirt and everything in it. Can someone please help me and tell me is it worth the $700? is it a good rifle?

I'm sorry but that is one butt ugly rifle. I have a Remington 7400 that shoots about 1 1/2 minute groups and has never given me any trouble.

Thats weird I think that looks really nice, you must not like the BAR look wich is a shame cause a lot of people do and love this rifle or you just hear "Euro" and you think sh*t or something like that. I went to a sporting goods store and saw the 750 and 7400 in synthetic and I think it looks cheap doesnt look like you would pay $600 for that thing.

I have never been a fan of Winchester rifles, but I prefer Winchester shotguns over Remingtons. I guess it is a matter of taste. I prefer Ford over Chevy or Dodge.

BAR? They look a bit blocky for me, but I certainly wouldn't kick one out of bed for eating crackers.
