Winchester model 94 lever action 357

What I was talking about is semi-wadcutter with gas checks, What my concern is when the rifle is loaded up are there a chance of the bullets in the tub going off

plus one... if there was a big risk i would think that companys wouldnt make tube fed weapons

Round or flat nosed bullets should not be an issue. I have yet to see a .357 round that had enough of a point to dent a primer. But I am not an expert on reloading.

Might not want to get 'em wet in the tub though.

Always thought the '94 was a rifle cartridge, .30-30... "92 was the pistol caliber. Don't think I'm wrong, but it would not be the 1st time.

As far as I'm aware the Winchester 1894 Models are chambered in 30-30. The Winchester Model 1892s come in .357 magnum.

Had a '94 in .30-30, and have a '92 in .44-40.

JP,Winchester made the 94 in Pistol calibers too.

I have a 94AE 44 Magnum with a 24" barrel.It's the bottom rifle in the pic.

The '94 was designed for a rifle style cartridge but was adapted to acomadate (sp) the revolver cartridges in modern times - many will argue it does not work that great :(
