Default Winchester model 100

I have a model 100 that has been passed down from my grandfather and its in great condition with the upgraded firing pin. I have my eyes on a Ruger sr1911 so I have contemplating selling the model 100. What's everyone's opinion and thoughts.

Keep grandpa's gun, if even you never shoot it, you will regret letting it go.

Save $5 to $10 per week, put the SR1911 on layaway, whatever it takes.

But do not buy non-essentials on credit.

That is my $0.02.

I have started to take pics to post it but every time I do I put it right back in the safe. I actually shoot it as much as possible even though .308 ammo has went to outrageous prices lately. I have modded it a little myself am enjoy it. I would like to get an 8 round colyer clip for it. I have just been lusting after the sr1911 since I shot one, lol
