Default Winchester mod 70 ???

Just got my Winchester model 70 in 300 mag and it's not a muaser action?

It's a slightly modified 98 Mauser action. Like 95 percent of all other bolt actions out there..

if its a classic action is a halfstep ahead of the mauser action

Did you get a push feed or the 'classic' control feed M70????

I believe its a push feed But I never heard of a push feed model 70 ?

From the picture, it is a post '64. It does not have the large Mauser extractor claw and is a push feed. For all practical purposes, it is a modified Mauser action.
