Where can I find a wooden stock for a Remington 700 sps in 300 win mag

I beg to differ jpatterson. All 700 actions are the same except for the action length. You wouldn't want an adl stock you would want a bdl stock. Adl stocks don't have bottom metal other than the trigger guard the SPS stock has bottom metal just like the BDL.

Well I'd start with a 700 sps 300 win mag
So I'd like a wooden stock for that

I personally don't like the thumb hole stocks
I'd like a classic wooden stock that can be bed and free floated

They have both. I got you to the site, read a little further and look at the Classic.

Sorry I'm a novice, but easy to bed? And able for free floating?

The stock is pre fit to a stock rifle however it is wood and workable. Just make sure you know what you are doing or get some experienced help. The stocks are laminate and very stable. The factory finish is very good.

Sorry, got them backwards! Can you tell I don't use a 700!
