I had my custom long range special 7mm RUM out there to show to a couple of them wanting to try it. We were shooting at the 100 yard targets when a injured buck started hobbling across my 800 yard range. Everybody was hollering to put him out of his misery. When he brushed up against my 650 yard windflag I knew exactly how far away he was. After resting my rifle I dialed it in for 650 yards and shot. He dropped at the shot and when we went to retrieve him he was 3 yards shy of the windflag. It sure made my reputation locally the day I shot a buck at 647 yards away in front of all those people!!! I got orders for more rifles after that too! Yes most of those witnesses can be contacted in case of doubt.
You're a liar!! I was there and if it was an inch over 150 I'd be amazed! You wanna do the trigger on my Marlin 795??

LMAO spitty. I try to stay away from marlins cause I don't own any in order to test the trigger groups out in. Plus they are a bi*ch to do compared with Rugers.

Just messing with ya buddy. I love that 795 except for one thing...the trigger is STIFF!! Breaks clean, no creep but sometimes I wonder how much harder I'm going to have to squeeze.

Good one Bear. I would like to have seen the looks on their faces. I bet you got some good offers on your 7mm!
