Should 148 gr TulAmmo be used in a mosin?

I've got 150gr ammo and I think it works good. If your bore is .308-.310 I think it could actually fire. 308 ammo. Any bigger though I would stick with the 7.62x54 rounds

Before you scope any Mosin-Nagant, you may want to shoot it with iron sights first. You may be wasting your efforts. Bore condition on these rifles range from new to totally worn out. If you permanantly alter the rifle, you may live to regret it. The supply of these rifles is drying up, and the price is going to increase for the authentic, non-altered rifles.

True but I have heard that the front sight was wore out

Not wore out but off a little so that would make a difference and yes I did use a calibrator to measure bore thickness

One thing had me stumped though. When I measured the bore at one angle I got .309 but at another almost .320.
I dunno if I was just getting on and off the rifling or was the bore wore out on one side?
