As I said I am a bit new but could someone identify the scopes and mounts used in this pic... looks like they have 2-3 different scopes and mounts.

Your looking at doing some work. If you want to mount a scope like the ones in the pic, first thing you need to do is google "the bolt man".

A lot of those are JMECKs. Like I said, they are the best. You have to identify what you want in a scope yourself.

Am i wrong for thinking that scoping a classic & clean MN rifle is like mounting airbags and Onstar in a '65 Corvette?

I agree. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one that is already scoped but I cant bring myself to deface one myself.
