Default What should I purchase next

Hi first post.

I've been wondering what my next purchase should be, figured you guys could give me some advice. The only criteria I have is that the weapon should not be a caliber I already have, and currently I'm only collecting firearms from European manufacturers. I sort of want a .357 mag, but I'm not sure if there are any non-domestic companies other than Taurus that make them.

Here is a list of what I have in my gun safe right now, and advice would be much appreciated. I'm lacking any sort of accessories currently, so advice on things to put on the rails of the SCAR would also be appreciated. I know I want to get a foregrip, but other than that not sure what sort of optics I should get.

HK91A2
FN SCAR 16S
CZ 452-2E FS .22 WMR
Benelli M2 Tactical
HK USP .45 ACP
HK USP Compact .40 S&W
HK P2000 SK 9mm

Since you would like to get a 357mag try to find a nice Dan Wesson 15-2 or 715 series revolver made in monson mass.. You can change barrels and grips to custom design. sites and Cz still has accessory;s for them and several guys at the danwesson forum build custom goodies for them. Cheaper than a freedom arms and better than the rest even 20 years old. Oh taurus is own by a south american company BUT many are made there now

Rossi/Braztech is another choice for a decent 357 revolver. i have never shot one or owned one, but have looked at them. they look pretty good and myself, have thought about buying one. maybe someone else can lend some input on them.

I think I'll start a seperate thread over in the pistol subforum about .357s. Any suggestions on my next long arm? I don't feel a burning need for anything right now, but I'm a sucker for cool guns and am always interested in finding out about rifles I don't know about.

You might want to consider a Desert Eagle made by IMI in .357 magnum. That is if you're willing to get a semi automatic, but if you want a revolver then there's Taurus, Rossi, and Dan Wesson.

Hi M2AO,

Welcome to the Firearms Talk Forum.

Deagle's return springs(4 of them) take a lot of recoil

out of the operation.

My .44 mag has only a little more recoil than a .45 ACP,

which is way less than the massive recoil of a .44 wheel gun.

but the fun of a 44mag. is the recoil causing the hammer to split your eyebrow! i had a chance to shoot the desert eagle many years ago, wished now i had taken the guy up on his offer now. i would love to shoot one! also the sheer weight of it probably takes some of the recoil out of it. i did look at one in a gun store, and that gun is heavy.

Well, I can't speak for the 50AE, but the .44 Mag Deagle has a

lot less recoil than one might think.

Shoot in the late evening with WWB 240 grain SPs for a

hilariously large fireball...
