I'm just extremely fortunate. I pretty much spend all of my extra money on my firearms or chopper. Since I do a lot of hunting, I LITERALLY only spend money to eat IF I go to restaurants. My side business and investments have done pretty well too

Mosin Nagant 91/30
Hi-Point 955TS
Winchester Model 94 (Pre '64, and chambered for the Winchester .32 Special)

I love 'em all, but the Winchester will always have a special place in my heart just because it was my great-grandfathers

i have many different rifles, shotguns and pistols, and like them all. each have different purposes so each has its own special use for me. if i am not happy with a firearm for whatever reason, doesn't work correctly, or just wasn't what i thought it would be for me, it's gone very soon. i don't keep but what makes me happy.

I've got quite a few more rifles and a few more shotguns...... These are just my favorites and most fun. I've got old hunting rifles and scatter guns that were handed down or I've traded for but these are the coolest!
You seem ready for hordes of zombies , haha, but i like the Benelli M4 and AR-30 .308

My favorite rifle is the first one I ever bought, my Winchester Model 94. I bought it in 1973 and it still looks and shoots great.

I'd go with the AK for starters.

It's more fun than the shotgun at the range.

Then the 590A1-, well, I've been eyeing one for

quite a while, now, as I really like my Mossy 500.

The two rifles I have the most fun with, OP, are my

Russians, the SKS and Mosin M44. I guess if you're a fan

of milsurp, maybe you'll understand.
I'm doing fine Wolf, thank you!
So I should get the AK 47 first you say? That's a good push
in the right direction for me. I think I will most certainly go there.
Thanks again!

I gotta say the Mosin, both for the history and fun. Mine is a '44 that was refurbished after the war. On the right side, right next to the bolt you can still see 4 tally marks that were covered by wood finish, so I can only assume that some Russian was keeping a tally during WW2.. Only to have it covered when the gun was re-arsenaled. Just a guess, but either way, it's cool! But you can't beat the power that you get from the 7.62.. And you get a lot of bang for your buck!
