Default What is going to be your next Long gun purchase

I am looking into a AK74 or an AK47.
The 74 ammo is plentiful and at $169 for 1080 rounds...lots of plinking.
The Ak47 is around $200 to $300 more and ammo is considerably more expensive.
Decisions....

Anyone have any expierence with the AK74? I have been reading up on it lately and seems like it would be a great gun to have.

I've had a Wasr2 for years. Great rifle. Accuracy is much better w/ the 5.45 compared to 7.62x39. Super light recoil, and cheap ammo.

If you buy 2 cans or more from Aim, it is $119.95 per can. Shipping on a case(2 cans) is about $30.00.

Used mags are about $6....12.00 each.

My next long gun will be a lever action of some kind.

Most likely a Cheepo Hi-Point 9mm carbine. Plenty of cheap time with it and a great little carbine to Let the kid shoot.

I'm way overdue for a Mauser and if I'm ever in the chips, another M1A Scout Squad..
