I didn't do anything to any of my bolt action rifles today, but I have spent several hours looking around on the web at barrels and stocks, trying to decide just what I want to do with my 6.5-06 build that I'm going to start on shortly.
I'm going to put a Magnum Contour barrel on this rifle, since I'm going to use it for a hunting rifle, and I'm leaning towards a Hart barrel, but also looking at McGowen,Shilen and a couple others.
I'm also leaning towards a Wildcat Thumbhole stock from Richards Microfit Stocks. I enjoy doing the final fitting and finishing on stocks. It really makes you proud of the final product when your done.

What's wrong with you Axxe? Have you been sick!

I have a couple hundred test loads made up that I need to go shoot, but I need to clean the 25/06 and 223 before I test them.
I'm trying a new bullet in the 25/06,and a new powder with the 223.

Any chance you could do a step by step thread on your build? I assume it would be on a savage action? The more I look at the 244, the more I would like to build one my self.

You need me to come down there and fix ya up. I can tie your arms/head to a tree, and hook your legs up to the 12k lb winch on the PowerWagon, and stretch you back out. LOL

Hate to here that bud, hope you get better.
