dont know if this is an old subject, dont log in every day, I am thinking about the Weatherby Vanguard Carbine in .22-250, I know it has the 20" bbl and will affect ballistics, muzzle blast etc. does anybody have one, not necessarily in this caliber, but pros and cons compared to a regular 24" Vanguard. thanks.

Just some info I didn't know before investing in a 22-250. If you do your own reloading, 22-250 brass only lasts maybe three reloads, then it's pretty much toast. With that said, everything else I buy will be in 308.
Edit: Vanguards are awesome. I've read in a few magazines of guys putting up half inch moa with shelf ammo and only decent glass!
