It's gonna put ME in the 1911 club. still can't make my mind up on what brand though. I'm flipping between the SA GI, and a series 70 Colt.

I don't remember the 270. I planned on getting the 30-06 for the budget long range rifle, and the other two just for fun. I'll probably end up getting a 270 too though. You can never have too many guns.

I don't think you could go wrong with either one.

I'd be willing to trade it for the right Asian escort though.
Man if you are getting 1" groups at 300 yards that's all I need to hear. I know that most guns are capable of the moa group size but few actually guarantee it. Weatherby on their new series 2 vanguards guarantee a moa group I think I can take the risk and buy one. Wow at 1000 yards you would be alittle bigger than 3" group if you can figure out wind and all that stuff. Cool.

That 1" group is with a swabbed barrel between shots, match ammo, and no wind on that day. I've never gotten anything out to 1000 yards before. That would be fun to try.

Ok. Ya I've never shot at 1000 yards before either but plan to sometime. I practice alot at 500 and have just to see if I could, have hit a square foot at 800. I don't have good optics for anything beyond 500 and with very little wind. K thanks.
