Defaultward western field tube fed 22??

I've only seen The number N(C or 6)4 A22 SLLR
where is the model numbers on these rifles and is this enough info to determine it's manufacture date?

If there is no serial number (and no evidence of ever having one) it is likely pre-68. Serial numbers were not required pre-68.

IIRC these were savage/springfield made for Montgomery Wards. Western Field was Wards "trade name" for guns. This was similar to Sears and the "Ted Williams" brand.

SLLR means it is intended for Short, Long and Long Rifle cartridges.

Wards had many different manufactures A pictures would help us a lot in telling you which one you have.

Mossberg also made a bunch of 22 rifles for wards.
