Default The 6.5-06 is together !!!

I stopped at 10 coats of Tung oil on the stock. I have the depth and color that I was looking for.

I decided to put it all together when I got off work today, and this rifle looks fantastic.
I'm going to need to order a new trigger return spring from Sharp Shooter Supply for the SSS Competition trigger,I guess it collapsed or got stretched while I was adjusting the trigger from a really lite pull I had on my 300 WM,to a pull weight that would work good for this rifle. The trigger will not return after dry firing without manually resetting it by hand when the bolt handle is lifted. It's no big deal, and can be changed out in a few minutes.

I can't wait to see how this rifle shoots!

Very nice work and the colors really jump out. But, only 10 coats instead of 12? I think perhaps you just could not take it anymore and had to put it together. My stock is in the mail. As far as color and depth go, I believe 8 coats will do just fine.
