called weatherby it was a special gun built for jerrys or something like that he said there wasnt awhole lot of them built for jerrys sold it in dec 2008but thats all he could tell me he told me what stock it had before i told him anything tthanks guys

Hey that's not a replacement stock vangaurds started a line of thumbhole stocks. I looked at a 300 weatherby brand new with the same stock 2 days ago.

Weatherby shows no such rifle. Here is the stock.

This is the only wood stock offered in the Vanguard that I've seen.

That's probably a dealers exclusive then. That what my ruger 7mm08 was when I got it.

they told me that it was built for jerrys whatever that is but it came with that stock so he said on the phone and he told me what stock i had said is was a special that place was running i found the exact stock from boyds butthis is how my gun came
