Hey guys, you might remember that a couple of months ago I restocked my Weatherby with a B&C Medalist stock. Well I've finally got my arse into gear and took some photos and shot a group or two.

When I first fitted the stock I put one round through it and its zero was pretty much the same so I didn't worry about grouping. It was certainly good enough for the occassional fox, but this weekend I'm heading to an abandoned quarry for a competition of sorts betweeen some mates and I (clays at 250yrds), so I thought I'd better check its accuracy properly.

With the rifle I made with the factory stock for my girlfriend's 5 year old cousin. He's starting to get into guns so this and the air rifle are teaching him gun safety and etiquette :cool:

Finally the 5 shot group; I didn't measure it but it's definitely minute-of-fox :D

My next job is to bed the recoil lug, then hopefully over the next couple of weeks I can buy a case of Norma ammunition to collect the brass and start reloading!

Thanks mate, I'm very happy with it. Hopefully I can shrink those groups even further with some Norma cases and Nosler Silvertips; I'm buying some dies this week :cool:
